We Compost Celebrates 186,000 Pounds of Food Waste Collected in 2025!

When food goes to the landfill, it produces methane gas, which is extremely harmful to our atmosphere and environment. With the We Compost program, Clark County residents can bring their food waste to drop-off sites for free and divert it to Dirt Hugger, a commercial composter in Dallesport, WA. This is especially useful for residents who are outside of the Organics service area.
