Our shredding service is fully compliant with FACTA, HIPAA, Gramm/Leach/Bliley, and the Privacy Act, and are AAA certified through the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID), a third-party association that provides regular and unscheduled audits of shredding performance, so you can rest assured that your confidential documents and media are handled properly.

Waste Connections can help as we offer many convenient shredding services. The best option for you depends on whether you’re shredding a little or a lot. We can come to your home or business with a truck fitted with a shredder and destroy your documents on site and provide you with a certificate of destruction for your records. We will tailor a service plan that fits your needs, and you will never be forced to sign a contract, nor will you be charged a fee for container rental or fuel.

We offer regularly scheduled shredding services ranging from weekly, every other month, monthly shredding, on-call service, quarterly, yearly or one-time document purges, as well as non-paper shredding services.

LeMay Mobile Shredding with Waste Connections is proud to serve Castle Rock, Longview/Kelso, Southwest Washington, Portland/Metro area (down to Salem/Albany), Northwest Oregon from the Coastline (Seaside to Long Beach/Ocean Shores) and from the Gorge over to Hood River/Skamania County, including Goldendale.

Acceptable materials

Shred documents that contain sensitive information such as social security numbers, birthdays, and bank account information. Such documents include:

• Financial statements
• Invoices
• Medical/dental records
• Legal records
• Pay stubs
• Tax records
• Vehicle records
• Employment records
• Customer information

Because we recycle all the paper we receive, we would prefer to receive paper only, but we will also accept paper with staples, paper clips, and binder clips attached, as well as paper inside the paper file and hanging folders.

Unacceptable materials

We do not accept materials other than paper, such as 3 ring binders, cardboard, batteries, x-ray film, block foam, or garbage.

What if I have Non-Paper items that need to be destroyed?

We also provide non-paper shredding services, from Training Binders, Building Entry cards, Employee ID Badges, Identity Cards, X-Ray, MRIs and other medical recordings, Prescription pill bottles, old uniforms, plastics bags, down to electronic media such as hard drives, CDs, DVDs, floppy discs, and microfiche and more. Getting Rid of Small Quantities?

For small shredding projects (a few grocery bags or a few document storage boxes), we recommend visiting one of our drop-off locations in Clark County or you can check out the list of Free Community Shred Events that have been scheduled throughout the year.

Be sure to load your documents into document storage boxes. Document storage boxes are available in two standard sizes. We do not provide boxes.

If you are self hauling to the transfer station, you will unload your documents into a secure cart. Documents loaded into our secure carts are shredded once each day. **Please note that you may not be able to witness the shredding process**

Getting Rid of Large Quantities/ Looking for a One-Time Service?

For large shredding projects (10 document storage boxes or more), whether quarterly, yearly or on a one-time basis, we recommend using the on-site shredding services provided by LeMay Mobile Shredding.

We can come to your home or business with our truck that has been fitted with a shredder and destroy your documents on site and provide you with a certificate of destruction for your records. Customers who would like a one-time service should place documents into document storage boxes.

These boxes are available at many office supply stores and come in two standard sizes: standard (15” x 12” x 10”) and long (24” x 12” x 10”). After shredding, you will be able to keep these boxes. Looking for a Recurring Shredding Service? 

Customers who sign up for regular or on-call service are eligible to receive lockable containers at no additional charge.
