Event hosts are welcome to borrow garbage/recycle/food waste bins and dishware free-of-charge from Waste Connections’ Event Lending Library.

Charitable organizations in Clark County may be eligible for monetary grants or gifts of raffle items or in-kind dumpster service.  Interested organizations may apply by submitting a Charitable Giving Application Donation-Request-Form  and send your inquiry to clarkcountycharitablegiving@wcnx.org.
Organizations requesting free dumpster service are still responsible setting up and maintaining a garbage/recycle system during their event, sorting their waste, and for litter cleanup after their event. Be sure to also reserve garbage/recycle receptacles from the Event Lending Library, free for all events in Clark County.

Composter Recycler (CR) program

Composter/Recyclers are community members who are experts in reducing garbage and creating recycling/composting systems. You can invite a CR volunteer to join your event planning team. CRs can help you design a more sustainable event and help train your garbage/recycle volunteers.
