City of Vancouver Collection Calendar Options

To help better serve the community and reduce waste, Waste Connections of Washington will no longer automatically send postcards with your collection schedule each year. Starting January 2025, if you would like a physical copy of your collection calendar, you are able to access it through the RecycleRight tool or by submitting the form below.

To download or print a pdf of your collection calendar, follow these steps:

  1. Enter your address
  2. Scroll down and click “Get a calendar”
  3. Select one of the options
    1. Add to Google Calendar, iCal or Outlook
    2. Print a calendar

Waste Connections and the City of Vancouver encourage all customers to access collection calendars through RecycleRight.

You can also use the RecycleRight webtool or the free RecycleRight app to:

  • View your collection schedule
  • Sign up for reminders and service alerts in case of schedule changes
  • Look up donation, recycling and disposal options
  • Request a bulky item pickup

Download the RecycleRight app from Apple App Store (works with iPhones and iPads) or Google Play (works with android devices). Alerts in Español, Русский and Tiếng Việt are also available. Contact Waste Connections Customer Service team at customerservice2010@wcnx.org for assistance.

If you prefer a physical calendar, please submit this form and a postcard with your schedule will be mailed to you.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: How do I know if I am a customer within the city limits of Vancouver? (or, How do I know if my address is within COV?)

A: Visit this website and type in your address to see if it is within Vancouver city limits: www.cityofvancouver.us/about-vancouver/do-i-live-in-vancouver/

Q: Why are you switching to digital calendars?

A: There are a few reasons for this change. First and foremost, to help better serve the community by reducing waste. We have also heard from many customers that they do not use or want this mailing. Customers now can access their collection schedule at their convenience in a variety of ways to meet different preferences. Many customers prefer, and use, digital calendars and RecycleRight.

Q: Will we still have printed calendars available to COV customers?

A: Yes, but customers must be opted in or submit a request. Customers who have not opted for print or digital on their accounts will not automatically receive a calendar if they are in COV. Customers in COV can still opt in to receiving physical calendars by visiting our website wcnorthwest.com/digital-calendar to submit a request. If their account already has it set to receive print calendars, they will receive a printed one. If a customer does not have access to a computer/smart phone we can also manually mail the customer a printed calendar if requested.

Q: Do I have to opt in to receive a digital/printed calendar every year?

A: No, unless you decide you want to switch from receiving a printed calendar to digital/vice versa.

Q: How do I find my calendar on the RecycleRight web tool?

A: There are two ways. One, you can view your schedule by entering your address. Your collection days will appear. Two, click on “Get a calendar” and select one of the options.

Q: I’m using the RecycleRight app. How can I see my schedule?

A: By entering your service address, upcoming collection days will be visible. Currently, the app doesn’t offer the option to download or print your calendar.

Q: Why didn’t I receive a postcard with my collection schedule?

A: There are a few reasons for this change. We have heard from many customers that they do not use or want this mailing. Customers now can access their collection schedule at their convenience in a variety of ways to meet different preferences. Many customers prefer, and use, digital calendars and RecycleRight can download to these calendars.
