City of Vancouver customers will need to request a printed collection schedule; starting January 2025, they will no longer be automatically sent out. Access your digital calendar or request a paper copy at wcnorthwest.com/digital-calendar

Appliances

Large appliances including refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners can be recycled with Waste Connections. These appliances, in particular, contain Freon and other chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) that, if disposed of improperly, could harm the environment.

Recycle and Reuse Options

There are many ways to donate and recycle unwanted refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners. For up-to-date information on reuse and disposal locations and instructions, please use the RecycleRight tool.

Disposal with Waste Connections

Waste Connections offers appliance recycling at our three drop-off locations in Clark County. To learn more about these facilities, including rates for various bulky items, visit the Columbia Resource Company website.

These same materials can be picked up from your curb for a fee. On our website, you can find the price for this service and request service.
